I take many cricket and building photos—very often of those that might fit into potential Wikipedia articles—and places or subjects that are little or not recorded, with any flora and stuff that catches my eye. I have used chiefly a Canon EOS 6D (Mark II from July 2017), a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS and Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ90 depending on circumstance, with some early pictures from a Nikon Coolpix L810 and Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5. Some images are grabbed from my own hi-def vids, or are scans from older prints or film negatives taken with analogue cameras. See full galleries here.
If anyone needs pictures of buildings and places in north to north-east London, west Essex or east Hertforshire, and also, when I can get there, of South Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire, East/West Sussex or East Kent, let me know. Need a file for hard copy publication?: NB: an image converted by Wikimedia during upload, even the full size supposed 'Original file', is noticeably of lower quality than the picture before uploading, and is worsened again after downloading. Optimizing and any file size reducing of camera-unsharpened RAW files is judged through a calibrated monitor, perhaps including noise reduction, colour balance and sharpening workflow. A similar workflow for scanned negatives produce the best compromise I can muster from often imperfect sources. For print media this optimizing could prove problematic depending on particular print output requirements. Where a RAW file exists I can supply the original in native full size format, or a Tif file of a scanner-unprocessed negative, to optimize by a third party for specific use in hard copy publication.
